the app does not connect to the VR device

There are several reasons why your devices may not connect to each other. Please check the following points:
a.- Make sure that the VR device and the computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
b.- The light sensor of the headset (a box inside the glasses between the two lenses) must remain covered, otherwise the VR device will go into sleep mode and lose the connection.

c.- The firewall has been configured:
In Windows follow the following steps:
1.- Write “Windows Firewall” at the start of the computer, it may also appear as “Windows Defender Firewall”.
2.- Click on Allow an application or feature through Windows Firewall.
3.- Select the Change settings option.
4.- Search and select the Nesplora Control application and click on the Remove and Accept option.
5.- Start the Nesplora program normally and if it asks for permissions, it accepts both public and private networks.

d.- Check that your network does not block broadcast or broadcast calls. In some corporate networks these types of calls are blocked and therefore the computer cannot resolve the IP of the VR device:
1.-In the Application Options section, uncheck the “Search IP Automatically” box and enter the IP of the VR device.

3.-This number may vary so if at any time they do not connect, you should make sure that the IP of the VR device is correct.

e.- If the computer has an antivirus, it may be blocking the Control application, so you should look in the instructions of your antivirus how to give permissions to the Nesplora application. You can try disabling it temporarily, but keep in mind that your computer will be unprotected during this time.
