What are the hardware requirements?

The minimum technical requirements for the correct operation of the Nesplora System are the following:


  1. Virtual Reality System:

Meta Quest 2 (formerly Oculus Quest 2 & 3) (64, 128, 256 GB):
We do not provide them. They are available for purchase through their web and also through other retailers
It includes controllers and an integrated display
For their configuration only, you will need a smartphone:  Android 5.0 or higher, or Apple iOS 10 or higher.
For the execution of the tests you will not need a smartphone.

  1. PC computer

  1. Operating system:
    1. Windows 10 x64-bit or higher
    2. Mac OS X 10.x or higher
  2. RAM memory: 4 Gb.
  3. Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics or higher.

  1. WiFi network with Internet connection

  2. Headphones, with the following characteristics:

Must cover the auditory pinna.
It must sufficiently isolate from external noise.
It must be easily adjustable to fit different users.
With leather-type pads or similar in order to facilitate cleaning and proper maintenance.
They must be connected by cable (with a 3.5 mm stereo jack, the standard and most used plug) to the Virtual Reality device.
